¾ pound crimini mushrooms sliced

¼ pound shiitakes sliced

3 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves finely chopped

1 bunch chives chopped

1 cup heavy cream



In a large skillet melt the butter over medium. Stir mushrooms for 10 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 5 more minutes. Add cream. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with chives. Serve with a toasted piece of bread.
