Here’s a simple smoothie recipe for an on-the-go breakfast, snack or dessert. Add a scoop of low calorie, chocolate whey protein powder after a work-out or to keep you full from breakfast until lunch time.

 

Oatmeal Berry Smoothie

 

Ingredients:

1/4 cup ice

1 cups frozen mixed berries

1/4 cup plain non fat Greek yogurt

1 medium banana

1/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1 cup coconut water

1/2 cup water

For extra sweetness, add 1 teaspoon agave nectar

 

Directions:

Place ice and berries in the blender, and all other ingredients on top. Blend until completely smooth. Serve immediately.
